यज्ञोपवीत संस्कार

        यज्ञोपवीत संस्कार - यज्ञोपवीत दो शब्द यज्ञ + उपवीत =यज्ञोपवीत से बना है जिसका अर्थ है जिसने यज्ञोपवीत धारण कर रखा है उसे  यज्ञ करने का पूर्ण अधिकार होता है, गायत्री जप और वेद पाठ का अधिकार भी प्राप्त होता है ।अधिकांश स्थान या ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में इसे जनेऊ नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इसे ब्रह्मसूत्र भी कहते है अर्थात इसके पहनने से मनुष्य ब्रह्मा के प्रति समर्पित हो जाता है जनेऊ धारण करने के बाद मनुष्य को विशेष नियम और आचरणों का पालन करना अनिवार्य हो जाता है।                                                         जनेऊ को बाएं कंधे से दाएं बाजू की ओर पहनते हैं जनेऊ तीन धागों वाला सूत होता है जनेऊ में ये तीन सूत्र तीन ऋणो की तरफ ध्यान दिलाता है उन में से पहला है देव ऋण दूसरा पृत ऋण और तीसरा ऋषि ऋण का प्रतीक है यह सत्व रज और तम का प्रतीक होते हैं तीन धागोवाला जनेऊ यजु, ऋगु और साम की रक्षा करता है ।तीनों लोकों में भू ,भूव:  और स्व:  को निर्देशित करता है यह जनेऊ ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय, वैश्य धारण कर सकते हैं यह हमारी हिंदू संस्कृति या सनातन संस्कृति का प्रमुख अंग है धर्म के आधार पर जनेऊ के तीन  धागों मैं प्रथम धागा संयमित जीवन जीने का संदेश देता है दूसरा धागा मां के प्रति कर्तव्य का पालन करने का संदेश देता है तीसरा धागा पिता के प्रति कर्तव्य  का पालन करने का संदेश देता है ब्रह्मचारी के लिए तीन धागों वाले जनेऊ का विधान है तथा विवाह होने के पश्चात 6 धागे वाले जनेऊ धारण करने का विधान है 6 सूत्रों वाले जनेऊ में चौथे धागे से तात्पर्य पत्नी के प्रति समर्पण भाव से है और पांचवें और छठे धागे से तात्पर्य है कि सास और ससुर के प्रति अपने कर्तव्य का पालन करना चाहिए जनेऊ में 5 गांठ लगाई जाती है जो धर्म अर्थ काम  ब्रह्म और मोक्ष का प्रतीक है। यह पांच यज्ञ ,पांच ज्ञानेंद्रियों और पांच कर्मों का प्रतीक है   जनेऊ धारण करने वाले को इसके नियमों का पालन भी उसी दृढ़ता पूर्वक करना चाहिए जो कि हमारी वैदिक संस्कृति में बताए गए हैं जनेऊ की लंबाई 96 अंगुल होती है इसका तात्पर्य यह है कि जनेऊ धारण करने वाले को 64 कलाओं और 32 विद्याओं को सीखने का प्रयास करना चाहिए                             

 लघुशंका या दीर्घ शंका  के समय जनेऊ को अपवित्र होने से बचाने के लिए उसे खींचकर दाहिने कान पर चढ़ा लेना चाहिए आयुर्वेद में बताया गया है कि दाहिने कान की एक विशेष नाड़ी जिसे "लोहितिका" नाम से जाना जाता है यदि उस नाडी को दबा दिया जाए तो पूर्ण स्वस्थ आदमी को भी लघु शंका लग जाती है इसलिए कि उस नाडी का अंडकोष से सीधा संपर्क होता है "हिरणिया" नामक बीमारी का इलाज करने के लिए डॉक्टर लोग दाहिने कान की नाडी का छेदन करते हैं इसलिए यह रोग व्यक्ति में ना हो इसलिए जनेऊ को खींचकर दाहिने कान के ऊपर चढ़ाते हैं यज्ञोपवीत या जनेऊ का कोई तार टूट जाए तो बदल लेना चाहिए टूटे हुए तार वाली या खंडित जनेऊ को ना पहने 6 महीने से अधिक अगर जनेऊ पहने हो गए हैं तो भी जनेऊ बदल सकते हैं जन्म मरण के सूतक के पश्चात जनेऊ को बदल लेना चाहिए जनेऊ को उतारा नहीं जाता अगर जनेऊ गंदा हो गया है तो उसे गले में ही गोल गोल घुमा कर ही साफ करें गले से उतारने पर दूसरा जनेऊ ही धारण करना होगा मर्यादा और नियमों का पालन करते हुए जनेऊ में चाबी के गुच्छे ना बांधे जब बालक इन सब नियमों का पालन करने लायक हो जाए तभी जनेऊ संस्कार करना चाहिए ।                                                             वैज्ञानिकों के अनुसार अगर किसी भी व्यक्ति को बुरे सपने आते हैं तो उसे जनेऊ संस्कार करवाने के बाद बुरे सपनों से मुक्ति मिल जाती है वैज्ञानिक कहते हैं कि कान पर जनेऊ लपेटने से सूर्य नाड़ी का जागरण होता है और पेट संबंधी रोगों का निवारण होता है और रक्तचाप संबंधी रोगों से भी बचाव होता है जनेऊ से पवित्रता का आभास होता है यह हमें बुरे कामों से दूर रखती है जनेऊ हमारी संस्कृति को आगे बढ़ाने में सहयोग प्रदान करती है क्योंकि यह हमारे मन और शरीर दोनों को ही पवित्र बनाती हैं                                                            प्रणाम।                                                                       अन्नपूर्णा शर्मा

English Translation 

Yajnopaveet Sanskrit - Yajnopaveet is made up of two words Yajna + Upveet = Yajnopaveet which means one who holds Yajnopaveet has full right to perform Yajna, chanting Gayatri and reciting Vedas also. Most places or in rural areas.  It is also known as Janeu.  It is also called Brahmasutra, that is, by wearing it, a person becomes devoted to Brahma, after wearing a janeu, it becomes mandatory for a man to follow special rules and practices.  Janeu wears it from left shoulder to right arm. Janeu is a three-threaded thread. In Janeu, these three sutras refer to the three debts. The first of them is Dev loan, second is the symbol of debt and third is the symbol of sage debt.  And the three threads symbolizing Tama protect the Janeu, Yaju, Rigu and Sama. In the three worlds it directs Bhu, Bhuva and Swaya. This Janeu Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya can hold it in our Hindu culture or Sanatana.  The main thread of the culture is the first thread on the basis of religion. The first thread gives the message of living a restrained life. The second thread gives the message of performing duty towards the mother. The third thread gives the message of performing duty towards the father.  There is a law of three threaded janeu and after marriage, there is a law of wearing a thread with 6 threads, in janeu with 6 sutras, the fourth thread means devotion to wife and the fifth and sixth thread means mother-in-law and  Should perform their duty towards father-in-law, 5 knots are put in Janeu, which means religion  Symbolizes m and moksha.  It is a symbol of the five yajnas, the five gyan senses and the five karmas. The person wearing janeu should also follow its rules with the same firmness as stated in our Vedic culture. The length of janeu is 96 fingers. This means that wearing janeu means  One should try to learn 64 arts and 32 disciplines

 In order to prevent the janeu from becoming impure during the time of short-sightedness or prolonged doubt, he should be dragged over the right ear and in Ayurveda it is said that a special pulse of the right ear known as "Lohitika" if that pulse is suppressed  So even a perfectly healthy man gets a little doubt that because that pulse has direct contact with the testicles, to cure a disease called "Hiraniya", doctors pierce the pulse of the right ear so that the disease does not occur in the person.  If you have broken a string of yagyopaveet or janeu, you should replace the janeu by pulling it over the right ear. If you have worn a broken wire or broken janeu for more than 6 months, then janeu can be changed even after birth.  The thread should be changed after the thread, the Janeu is not removed, if the Janeu has become dirty, clean it by turning it round the neck, and after removing it from the neck, the other person should wear the same and follow the rules in the Janeu.  Do not tie the bunch of keys when the child is fit to follow all these rules, then only Janeu should be cremated.  According to scientists, if a person has nightmares, he gets rid of nightmares after performing janeu rites. Scientists say that wrapping janeu on the ear awakens the sun pulse and prevents stomach diseases and  Blood pressure related diseases are also protected. Janeu gives us a sense of purity. It keeps us away from evil deeds. Janeu helps in furthering our culture because it makes both our mind and body pure.
