अर्जुन का श्रीकृष्ण को समझाना

 अर्जुन का श्री कृष्ण को समझाना  --   अर्जुन अत्यधिक प्रयत्न कर रहा है श्रीकृष्ण को समझाने का। तरह-तरह के उदाहरण देकर वह कृष्ण को समझा रहे हैं कि किसी भी तरह कृष्ण मान जाए कि युद्ध नहीं करना चाहिए युद्ध सही नहीं है। उसी रूप में अर्जुन कह रहे हैं हे कृष्ण !जब कुल में अधर्म प्रमुख हो जाता है तो कुल की स्त्रियां दूषित हो जाती हैं और स्त्रीत्व के पतन से ही वृष्णिवंशी अवांछित संतान उत्पन्न होती हैं ।अवांछित संतानों की वृद्धि से निश्चित ही परिवार के लिए तथा पारिवारिक परंपरा को भी नष्ट करने वालों के लिए नारकीय जीवन उत्पन्न होता है। ऐसे पतित कुलों के पुरखे (पितर लोग) गिर जाते हैं क्योंकि उन्हें जल तथा पिंड दान देने की क्रियाएं समाप्त हो जाती हैं। जो लोग कुल परंपरा को विनष्ट करते हैं और इस तरह अवांछित संतानों को जन्म देते हैं उनके दुष्कर्मों से समस्त प्रकार की सामुदायिक योजनाएं तथा पारिवारिक कल्याण -कार्य विनष्ट हो जाते हैं। 

   श्लोक का सार। ---     श्रीमद भगवत गीता के अध्याय 1 के श्लोक 40 ,41 ,42 में अर्जुन श्रीकृष्ण को समझाने का प्रयत्न करता है कि जीवन में शांति सुख तथा आध्यात्मिक उन्नति का मुख्य सिद्धांत मानव समाज में अच्छी संतान का होना है ।वर्णाश्रम धर्म के नियम इस प्रकार बनाए गए थे कि राज्य तथा जाति की आध्यात्मिक उन्नति के लिए समाज में अच्छी संतान उत्पन्न हो। ऐसी संतान समाज में स्त्री के सतीत्व और उसकी निष्ठा पर निर्भर करती है। जिस प्रकार बालक सरलता से कुमार्गगामी बन जाते हैं ।उसी प्रकार स्त्रियां भी पतनोन्मुखी  होती हैं ।अतः बालको तथा स्त्रियों दोनों को ही समाज के वयोवृद्धो का संरक्षण आवश्यक है ।स्त्रियां विभिन्न धार्मिक प्रथाओं में संलग्न रहने पर व्यभिचारिणी  नहीं होंगी। चाणक्य पंडित के अनुसार समान्यत: स्त्रियां अधिक बुद्धिमान नहीं होती। अतः वे विश्वसनीय नहीं है। इसलिए उन्हें विविध कुल परंपरा में व्यस्त रहना चाहिए और इस तरह उनके सतीत्व तथा अनुरक्ति से ऐसी संतान जन्मेगी जो वर्णाश्रम धर्म में भाग लेने के योग्य होगी ।ऐसी वर्णाश्रम धर्म के विनाश से यह स्वाभाविक है कि स्त्रियां स्वतंत्रता पूर्वक पुरुषों से मिल सकेंगी और व्यभिचार को प्रश्रय मिलेगा जिससे अवांछित संतान उत्पन्न होंगी। निठल्ले लोग भी समाज में व्यभिचार को प्रेरित करते हैं ।और इस तरह अवांछित बच्चों की बाढ़ आ जाती है जिससे मानव जाति पर युद्ध और महामारी का संकट छा जाता है। 

               सकाम कर्म की विधि -विधानों के अनुसार कुल के पितरों को समय-समय पर जल तथा पिंड दान दिया जाना चाहिए। यह दान विष्णु पूजा द्वारा किया जाता है क्योंकि विष्णु को अर्पित भोजन के उच्छिष्ट भाग (प्रसाद )के खाने से सारे पाप कर्मों से उद्धार हो जाता है कभी-कभी पितर गण विविध प्रकार के पाप कर्मों से ग्रस्त हो सकते हैं और कभी-कभी उनमें से कुछ को स्थूल शरीर प्राप्त ना हो सकने के कारण उन्हें प्रेतों के रूप में सूक्ष्म शरीर धारण करने के लिए बाध्य होना पड़ता है ।अतः जब वंशजों द्वारा पितरों को बचा प्रसाद अर्पित किया जाता है तो उनका प्रेत योनि या अन्य प्रकार के दुखमय जीवन से उद्धार होता है। पितरों को इस तरह की सहायता पहुंचाना कुल परंपरा है और जो लोग भक्ति का जीवन यापन नहीं करते उन्हें यह अनुष्ठान करने होते हैं। केवल भक्ति करने से मनुष्य सैकड़ों क्या हजारों पितरों को ऐसे संकटों से उबार सकता है ।भागवत में कहा गया है--" जो पुरुष अन्य समस्त कर्तव्यों को त्याग कर मुक्ति के दाता मुकुंद के चरण कमलों की शरण ग्रहण करता है और इस पद पर गंभीर पूर्वक चलता है वह देवताओं मुनियों सामान्य जीवो स्वजनों मनुष्य या पितरों के प्रति अपने कर्तव्य ऋण से मुक्त हो जाता है।" श्री भगवान की सेवा करने से ऐसे दायित्व अपने आप पूरे हो जाते हैं।

                    सनातन धर्म या वर्णाश्रम धर्म द्वारा निर्धारित मानव समाज के चारों वर्णों के लिए सामुदायिक योजनाएं तथा पारिवारिक कल्याणकार्य इसलिए नियोजित है कि मनुष्य चरम मोक्ष प्राप्त कर सके। अतः समाज के अनुत्तरदायी नायकों द्वारा सनातन- धर्म परंपरा के विखंडन से उस समाज में अव्यवस्था फैलती है। फल स्वरुप लोग जीवन के उद्देश्य विष्णु को भूल जाते हैं। ऐसे नायक  अंधे कहलाते हैं और जो लोग उनका अनुगमन करते हैं वह निश्चय ही कुव्यवस्था की ओर अग्रसर होते हैं।

English Translation 

Title - Arjuna's explanation to Shri Krishna

Arjuna is trying very hard to explain to Shri Krishna.  By giving various examples, he is explaining to Krishna that somehow Krishna should agree that war should not be fought, war is not right.  In the same form, Arjuna is saying, O Krishna! When unrighteousness becomes dominant in the family, the women of the clan get corrupted and due to the decline of femininity, unwanted children of Vrishnivanshi are born.  A hellish life arises for those who destroy even the family tradition.  The ancestors (Pitr people) of such fallen clans fall because the rituals of donating water and bodies to them are over.  All kinds of community plans and family welfare works are destroyed by the misdeeds of those who destroy the total tradition and thus give birth to unwanted children.

 The essence of the verse  ---  In Shlok 40, 41, 42 of Adhyay 1 of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Arjun tries to explain to Shri Krishna that the main principle of peace, happiness and spiritual progress in life is to have good children in human society. The rules of Varnashrama Dharma are as follows.  Ways were created that for the spiritual progress of the state and the caste, good children should be produced in the society.  Such a child depends on the chastity and loyalty of the woman in the society.  Just as children easily become misguided. Similarly, women are also downtrodden. Therefore, both children and women need the protection of the elders of the society. Women will not become adulterous if they engage in various religious practices.  According to Chanakya Pandit, generally women are not very intelligent.  Hence they are not reliable.  Therefore they should be engrossed in various clan tradition and thus from their chastity and nurturing such children will be born who will be able to participate in Varnashrama Dharma. With the destruction of such Varnashrama Dharma it is natural that women will be able to freely mingle with men and avoid adultery.  There will be shelter due to which unwanted children will be born.  Lowly people also inspire adultery in the society. And thus there is an influx of unwanted children due to which the human race is in danger of war and epidemic.

 According to the rules and regulations, water and body should be donated to the ancestors of the family from time to time.  This donation is done by worshiping Vishnu because by eating the exuded portion (prasad) of food offered to Vishnu, one gets salvation from all sinful deeds.  Some of them are forced to assume subtle bodies in the form of phantoms because they are unable to get the gross body.  Salvation happens.  It is a total tradition to provide such help to the ancestors and those who do not lead a life of devotion have to perform this ritual.  Only by doing bhakti a man can save hundreds of thousands of ancestors from such troubles.  If he walks well, he becomes free from the debt of his duty towards deities, sages, common living beings, relatives, humans or ancestors.  By serving Shri Bhagwan, such obligations are automatically fulfilled.

 Community plans and family welfare work are planned for the four varnas of human society as prescribed by Sanatan Dharma or Varnashrama Dharma so that man can attain ultimate salvation.  Therefore, due to the fragmentation of the Sanatan-Dharma tradition by the irresponsible heroes of the society, disorder spreads in that society.  As a result people forget Vishnu, the purpose of life.  Such heroes are called blind and those who follow them are surely heading towards maladjustment.
